Centropen, a Czech darling of the writing world, came to us with a challenge that spanned their entire product universe: “Hey Cocoon! Can you give our army of SKUs a makeover? Keep it fresh, modern, functional, and unmistakably Centropen.”

This wasn’t about a simple update, we were tasked with reimagining an entire portfolio - dozens of categories, countless SKUs, and products trusted by generations of customers.

The Vision: Keeping it cohesive

Centropen wanted to bring a more unified visual feel to their wide range of products, something that could speak to everyone, from office warriors to creative souls, without losing their signature charm.

The Makeover: Fresh but familiar

We kept the classic logo but gave it a modern twist. Packaging became more vibrant and consistent, with the School and Creative ranges getting playful pops of colour, while the Office and Profi lines stayed cool and professional. Different vibes, same Centropen spirit. 

The Big Reveal: Scribble, doodle, repeat

The redesign has been hitting the shelves gradually and getting noticed, especially by younger audiences. The perfect mix of simplicity and colour gave the brand new life, making it stand out in the market. Now, Centropen’s got that cool, creative vibe that makes you want to just pick a pen and let your thoughts (or doodles) flow.
