Vision has always been relatively objective - what you see is what you get. However, some companies are learning how to work around this basic human sense to expand our boundaries of sight.

Moyosa Media came from the Netherlands to show us their way of changing the visual world. They work with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to create truly impressive projects for clients like ŠKODA. VR and AR technologies are the next big thing for business communication, especially digital campaigns. Therefore, this was the perfect way to encourage our growing digital capabilities within our digital team.

After a brief introduction and explanation about the company and their current projects, CEO Jaap Kooiker and CTO Maikel Sibbald invited us to try their AR and VR technology for ourselves. Their AR smartphone app showcased a 3-dimensional image of our pride and joy: Staropramen cans. Additionally, they brought their own pride and joy: The Kremer Collection. This is a massive VR project from Moyosa that brings together 70+ old Dutch masters paintings into one virtual museum. With accurate brush strokes and light reflecting off of the subject matter, each virtual painting captures the full emotion of what the artist wanted to convey.

We put on the virtual reality headset and took hold of the control stick. Immediately, we were transported to a different dimension where Moreelse and Rembrandt paintings hung right before our eyes. Though it was possible to hear familiar voices all around us, nothing could take away from the authentic feeling of walking through a museum and learning about some of the most famous Dutch paintings in the world.

When it comes to digital campaigns, VR and AR technology have incredible potential for audience engagement. They create a world where it is possible for a consumer to see how a piece of art would fit on their wall before purchasing it, or how the interior of a car looks and functions. We want to give enormous thanks to Moyosa Media for letting us experience this new chapter of our technological world.
